ALITA 901-1 Vinyl Ester Resin - Fast Pultrusion & High-Performance Properties

Principal Properties & Application:

ALITA 901-1 is an epoxy vinyl ester resin designed for fast pultrusion. It has moderate viscosity and high reactivity, which can greatly increase the pultrusion line speed, improve the surface gloss of the product, reduce shrinkage, and reduce internal microphase cracks in the product. The pultruded products have both corrosion resistance, mechanical properties and electrical properties. The FRP core material obtained by pultrusion with ALITA 901-1 has high heat-resistant bending and strength. A core material circle with 50 times the diameter of the FRP core material can be unbroken for 24 hours at an ambient temperature of 100 ° C, which can reduce the defect rate of high-end core
materials to a minimum. It is especially suitable for fast pultrusion of optical cable reinforcement cores with diameters from 0.5 mm to 4 mm.

Summer100/0.5~1.0/1.0~2.0
Winter100/1.0~2.0/1.0~2.0

Note:
The extrusion solidifying agent mostly uses medium-high temperature composite solidifying agents, that is, BPO and TBPB are used together. In actual use, it needs to be adjusted according to different mold temperatures, extrusion speeds, product thickness diameters, and seasonal temperatures.
Benzoyl peroxide ENOX BPO-50F is a medium-temperature peroxide curing agent product from ENOX; tert-butyl perbenzoate ENOX TBPB is a high- temperature peroxide curing agent product from ENOX.

Handling and Storage:

This resin contains ingredients which could be harmful if mishandled. Contact with skin and eyes should be a voided and necessary protective equipment and clothing should be worn.
Drums - It is highly recommended that all material is stored at stable temperatures below 25℃ (77℉). Avoid exposure to heat sources such as dir ect sunlight or steam pipes. To avoid contamination of product with water, do not store outdoors. Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Rotate stock.

Talc Powder

Talc powder is a crucial component in FRP composites, offering distinct advantages such as purity, moisture resistance, and extended shelf life. The inherent shrinkage of the resin in FRP can be mitigated by incorporating talc powder, which diminishes resin heat generation, resulting in reduced deformation and shrinkage. Its widespread application encompasses FRP filler material, FRP

Internal Release Agent

Internal release agents play a crucial role in composite manufacturing processes by serving two primary functions. Firstly, they act as a barrier between layers of resin and the mold surface, facilitating the easy removal of cured parts without causing damage to either the part or the mold. Secondly, when applied correctly, these agents contribute to
